I live on Cottam Lane in Ingol and access to my home is via Barry Avenue. There is a small piece of road from Barry Avenue to the Canal Bridge that is full of deep pot holes that can quite easily create problems, not only to pedestrians but mothers with young children in prams and cyclists. Preston City Council used to fill in the potholes annually but this stopped two years ago and I have been trying to get PCC to do further maintenance for over two years with no success.

Preston City Council have been informed of the problem and have inspected the road. Within a matter of weeks John White asked Mr Wilson to contact the ICA. The work was carried out within weeks to the delight and complete satisfaction of the residents.

All the personnel from Preston City Council and the contracts where a delight to deal with professional, caring and very efficient. The ICA have received comments from residents of Cottam Lane showing appreciation to the Neighbourhood Management Street Rep Scheme

Problem

Louise

Re our very brief conversation on Friday - I have had two calls regarding fruit being thrown on to the car park to the rear of Barry Ave/Creswell Ave. (Ist right into small entrance directly after Sean Barker - Barry ).

Apparently this is not new but has been going on for a while, at times there are "mounds of them" both callers have stated it is being thrown there by the tenant living at 8 C. I do not think it is anything to do with asb but the intention is to feed the birds etc, also a fox has been seen on a regular basis on Barry Ave, personally I like the idea of being visited by a fox and feeding it is a noble gesture but perhaps on these occasions not a wise idea.

I would appreciate it if you could look into the matter or pass on to whom ever this concerns and I would be grateful if you could email me with your actions.

How resolved Community Gateway Association Morning Bill
I will pass onto Neil Wait and request our Community Assistants to clear the mess that is currently there.  Thanks Louise.
